Oily-Water Separator G SERIES
Designed to exceed MEPC.107 (49) regulations through expertly engineered technology, this system combines our HELI-SEP® coalescing matrix, depth process filter and our unparalleled SPIR-O-LATOR® membrane technology to guarantee compliance and efficiency for your vessel, offshore rig or oil terminal.
The first stage uses our HELI-SEP® coalescing matrix separator, a device that combines small oil droplets into larger ones, for effective removal of free oil. The second stage uses our SPIR-O-LATOR® technology to create a positive physical barrier, which blocks oil from entering the discharge, to break emulsions and provide discharge of less than 5 ppm consistently. While absorption devices rely on bulk media to absorb the oil from the water, which can lead to inefficient separation, our device achieves higher efficiency while also minimizing the risk of accidental discharge.
The HELI-SEP® coalescing matrix removes free oil from bilge water in the first stage of the process and removes fine particles through a depth process filter. The second stage SPIR-O-LATOR® technology provides a positive physical barrier to repel oil and oily emulsions, clean contaminated bilge water and produce continuous overboard discharge of less than 5 ppm.
Our SPIR-O-LATOR® membrane technology recognizes the differential pressure drop from membranes becoming clogged, circulates cleaning fluid to backwash the membranes of any emulsifications, and restarts ready to produce overboard discharge within 30 minutes.
